Liberty X William Morris Strawberry Thief Chunky Wooden Sage Green Hanging Heart Ornament

Lovers of Liberty of London and William Morris designs will absolutely love this classy hanging heart, a truly unique and charming decorative piece for your home or a gift for a loved one.

These chunky hand cut wooden hearts are lovingly made from scratch by our little Elizimmy family team. We believe this makes them all the more special!

The wooden hearts are cut by Grandad Elizimmy in his workshop. Once cut, he sands them down for a smooth and perfect finish ready for me to paint. I paint them in a chalk furniture paint for a ‘shabby chic’ finish and sand them for a slightly rustic look. The wood grain that occasionally shows through adds to their handmade charm and makes each heart entirely unique.

Once painted and sanded, one side is decoupaged with Liberty X William Morris Tana Lawn fabric and finally the whole heart is sealed using matte Mod Podge and finished with twine for hanging and wooden bead detail.

Each heart measures approximately 10cm width, 9.5cm height and 2cm thick.
