Something a little bit different from Elizimmy… I made these for our daughter and she was so happy with them I thought I would make them available on here!
Available in an adorable selection of beautiful floral patterns, these padded ice skate soakers are designed for figure skates to soak up any moisture and condensation from the skates after use and to help avoid rusting of the blades. The padding hugs the blades and the elasticated top ensures a snug fit over the blades. I have also added a little popper at the top which provides extra ‘snugness’ and security.
Currently, these soakers come in one size. I estimate that these would fit figure skates up to shoe size UK8 (adult) / Blade size 12. For reference, the skates shown in the photos are Edea size 270c which is approximately a UK shoe size 6.5/7. the blade size is 10 and there is still room for a longer size blade.
Materials used: Outer - 100% double gauze cotton muslin fabric Inner - Terry towelling These soakers are generously padded out with polyester stuffing.
